Letter
to my kids to be born
Dear
Kids:
When you might read these lines, many years
should have passed
Since they were written. I wish there would
be not so many. On this date, you have not been born yet, and even your mamma
is on doubt if some day you will be born.
This is all because I am going through
difficult moments of my life, far away from my country and my family, from
those who however I am proud of and I hope some day you will be as well.
This is a drawing I have already made for
many children; sons, nephews, small brothers and other relatives that are here
with me today. People who added their words and love and sent it to their
beloved ones of those who also they are far away from.
That is why I wanted to keep this for you,
for some day after you arrive and learn how to read and write, know why his
daddy is not so young as the rest of the fathers are and learn about the years
mummy and dad had to be separated in spite of loving each other a lot. Years
of which perhaps I can tell more .
Love you
Dad
