in the U.S.A. made a public announcement through the International Committee
of Justice and Freedom of the Five.
Within the text , he said he feels a deep
emotion by each word, each sample of support and also letters and messages ,
signatures and so many demonstrations of solidarity and brotherhood.
Fernando Gonzalez , sentenced to 19 years of
imprisonment, explains in his letter that all of them: René Gonzalez, Ramón
Labañino, Antonio Guerrero and Gerardo Hernández are conscious of the great
effort you make for us. The journal "Juventud Rebelde" informed.
In another moment of his message , Gonzalez
Llort highlighted that no matters what the result turns out to be , if the
planet already perceives this enormous injustice, then we can say we are
already wining the battle.
Fernando is held at the Oxford prison and
interpreting his inmates feelings , ratified that if they regret from anything
is not having to do more in the benefit of their people and the peoples of the
world, and he states : we are strong, firm, prouder and we love more mankind
since that September 12, 1998 , date in which we were arrested.
He ends his letter expressing that in spite
of pressures they have been submitted and the ignominious imprisonment they
have gone through they will not be able to overcome us because thanks to you
and our people we feel that this battle has just started and some day, earlier
than later reason, truth and justice shall overcome.
At present, there are supporting committees
to the cause for their release along 30 countries and every time new voices
are joined to this fair claim.
