Families of Barbados Crime Victims Demand Justice

Havana, Jan 17 (ACN) Relatives of all 73 victims of the bombing of a Cubana Airliner off Barbados coasts in 1976, masterminded by terrorist Luis Posada Carriles, issued a statement demanding justice, as the U.S government has overlooked his responsibility for the crime.

"We urge the government of the United States to make available to the relevant authorities the documents that they have in their possession, which reveal the terrorist nature of Luis Posada Carriles," reads the paper.

According to the American Justice Department, Posada Carriles will be judged only for having lied to immigration authorities during his naturalization process in this country.

The relatives of the victims of the sabotage said in the statement that those who accept the decision of the justice department become accomplices of the crime. "It is an affront to the memory of the thousands of citizens who have lost their lives in terrorist attacks."
