Solidarity with The Five in Congo expressed

Havana, March 16 The Generation Active Joseph Kabila (GAJK) Congolese nationalist organization expressed its solidarity with the five Cubans imprisoned in the US and demanded their immediate freedom.

Prensa Latina News Agency states that in Kinshasa, the Congolese capital, the ceremony of solidarity with the cause of The Five was TV and radio broadcast, an occasion where Cuban Ambassador to Congo Hector Igarza received a diploma and also the president for the Committee for the Five in that African nation Sylvere Isekombe Boswa.

GAJK President Attorney Jean Pierre Okuka highlighted that the patriots from the Democratic Republic of Congo recognize and admire Cuba’s support to the African peoples in their fight for the real independence.

Okuka underlined that the Congolese are committed in the fight so that justice prevails for the five Cubans imprisoned in US jails, whose only crime is to have fought against terrorism.
